I born and lived in Erbil. I graduated from the University of Salahaddin-Erbil, with bachelor degree in Chemistry in 2004. I worked as an assistant chemist before pursuing master’s degree at the same university. In 2009, I awarded M.Sc. in Chemistry. After graduation, I moved to Soran University, where I had an opportunity to have granted with a scholarship from the Higher Committee for Education Development in Iraq for pursuit of Ph.D. in chemistry. I moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue Ph.D. degree. I awarded Ph.D. in 2016 at the University of Kansas, USA.
